April'24 Bokksu: Yokohama Tides
Majestic, modern, and blue. Welcome to Yokohama.
Once a small fishing village on Japan’s coastline, Yokohama was later known as the entrance to Japan when it opened its doors to foreign trade in 1859. It’s now Japan’s second largest city by population and the Yokohama Port continues to be popular, welcoming new cultures into Kanagawa Prefecture. It’s no wonder the snacks from this area are extra tasty! This month, we’ve curated a selection of snacks that are made in the area or have packaging reminiscent of the blue Pacific waters surrounding Yokohama.
